About Julio Rodríguez
Julio Rodríguez is one of the top players and personalities in professional baseball. At just 21 years old, Julio took MLB by storm winning the 2022 American League Rookie of the Year, 2022 Silver Slugger, Home Run Derby Runner-Up, and earned MLB All-Star and All-MLB roster-spots as the only Rookie.
Originally from Loma de Cabrera, Dominican Republic, Julio signed with the Mariners at age 16 and began his professional journey. He taught himself English in the minor leagues to become fully bilingual. In 2021 he won a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics, and he entered the 2022 season as the #2 ranked prospect in baseball.
Julio started the 2022 MLB season as the youngest Mariners Center Fielder since Ken Griffey Jr and he became the fastest player in MLB history to record 25 home-runs and 25 stolen bases.
Off the field, Julio enjoys spending time in his native Dominican Republic and hanging out with family and friends. Julio combines a relentless work ethic with an outgoing personality. The sky is the limit!
